Glenmar brides who did e-pics

I was just wondering if anyone has a scanned engagement pic that they could either post or FM me. I would love to see the setting/backdrop so I can figure out what to wear and what to expect. TIA!

Hi,

I posted my e-pics awhile back. If you do a search under Glenmar or my name, you should be able to find them. If not, I will forum mail them to you tonight.

i'd like to know too. I wanted to call them and ask if we could do it in that park down the street, but still haven't gotten a chance.

I had the same thought and when I called to ask, Barry gave me some excuse that didn't make sense. I still don't know why we can't do that. He did say that if the weather is nice, he'll take couples out back where there are some nice flowers. We're going sat 10/2.

We just did ours as you know.. but my friend did her's outside with them.. She told me that they just called ahead of time and made arrangements. So they need to know that is what you want to do.

We went 2 weeks ago, the background was a light color and you sat on a victorian looking couch. He just took a bunch of pictures in a few different ways. We were laughing the whole time because we felt so cheesy in some of the positions, but I guess we'll have to get used to it.

I should be getting them soon so if i can get someone to scan them for me i'll post them.

PS - careful where you park, I got a ticket

I just took my last week. We did 2 poses and it felt unnatural. The whole process took 15 minutes. Although I have seen that they do great work, I am a little nervous about the engagement pictures. I don't think 2 poses is enough, but I shall see I guess.
I feel our smiles are going to look super fake.

we just got ours back and this is exactly how we felt when we took the pics.. We have two good pics out of all of them.. we were not really counting on these for anything major- besides a wedding announcement--

We didn't choose them based on the portrait type photos- it was the wedding day pics.

I'll take 2 good pics. We were hoping to use it near the place cards in a frame. We are also putting both our parent's wedding picture. All in 8 x 10 frames when the guests enter.

I'm praying for 1 good one. I don't feel that Im that photogenic (spelling?)

Did they send your proofs to you or did you have to pick them up?

What are we supposed to wear? Are we supposed to match?

I decided not to do E-pics, because I had heard from some ladies on here that they just did them in the studio, as a posed photo. Since that is not really my taste, I am just getting the E-picture they 'threw in' as an extra portrait in my wedding package.

they sent them to us.. overnighted for a $5 charge.

My word of advice- is if you know what angle, etc. how you take a better pic-- don;t let barry move you. He kept putting my hair behind my ears- and I hate how i look in pics like that- subsequently- we (meaning I) don;t like a lot of the pics.
