Anyone wearing gloves to thier ceremony? What are you doing for the ring exchange ceremont? Are you taking the gloves off, putting the ring over the gloves, or cutting a slit in your glove on your ring finger. Just wondering?
I wasn't going to wear gloves, and then i tried them on and they are beautiful. anyway I asked the girl at the bridal store and she said you take off the one glove, hand it to your MOH and then do the ring exchange. You can take of both if you prefer, or just one. I am going to do one because I want my gloves to be on when I exit the ceremony. Then after the ring exchange your MOH can help you. It sounded good to me.. but I want to hear more ideas..
nah....the glove thing just isnt for me. I'm not wearing them.
I love the glove look. I just have not look at them yet. I was thinking of maybe a sheer glove. I need to try them on with my gown though. I personally like the full glove look, not the fingerless.....just my opinion though.
I want to wear gloves. I am trying to find sheer ones I like, since my ENTIRE dress is organza. I thing the idea of taking one off for the ring portion is fine, then put it on after.
without a doubt Im wearing them..I love them.. I am wearing the opera style gloves..I dont mind at all that ill have to take them off. they do make gingerless gloves and ones where you can slip your finger through, I like them, but for myself I want the full glove, taking it off will only take a second!!
the gloves really made my whole 'bride' appearance.. I tried on the sheer but NOT FOR ME.. the satin were amazing though.. and for those of you with heavier upper arms.. gloves are the way to go, they made my arms look thinner, I thought it would be opposite
MY gown has long sleeves, so no gloves for me. My friend wore them though, and they looked great. I believe she slit the seam on her ring finger so that she could put her ring on and then took the gloves off at the reception.
i'm wearing gloves and i will take it off when it is time for the ring exchanging. i will pass my gloves to my maid of honor along with my flowers.
