gloves

how do we all feel about wearing gloves..i like the strapless dress but they all look better with gloves..i'm sketchy about wearing them..

Good question. I am also wearing strapless and think I am going to wear gloves (elbow length). I will take them off for the reception.

I'm with you girls .. LOVE the gloves, they look soo elegant! When else can you get away with wearing those pretty long gloves but on your wedding day!

Here's another question for the girls wearing gloves, though --

What do you plan on doing with the glove on your ring hand during the ceremony? Just taking it off when the ring goes on your finger? Or .. what? I don't care too much for the fingerless gloves, though that is an option for some ..

i wore gloves with my strapless gown in jan and loved the look. i took them off for the reception after a while

I took the hole glove off. i DONT like the idea of making a slit in the ring finger. Plus, hubby wanted to put the ring on my hand, not on the glove.

I love gloves. I hear they are totally back in. Everyone does wraps and I am getting bored with the wrap idea.

Anyway, I am wearing elbow length gloves. My dress is off the shoulder.
My girls are also wearing elbow length gloves. I think it will look great with thier dresses too.

I wasn't sure if i wanted to wear gloves but when I was in Michael's I bought a pair, they were so inexpensive,...who will know it's from a craft store :)

i was a little worried about wearing the gloves during the ring part also..who can fit the ring over a glove..i guess you can just take it off for that part though..they do look nice don't they?

I didn't like the idea of wearing gloves but have seen other brides do it and thought it looked beautiful.. Try your dress on with gloves and see what you like..

I personnally dont like gloves, I wore them for my SILs wedding and just hated them!
But its completely a personal preference. I think they look great on other brides but I agree with Diane, I dont like the idea of the slit in the ring finger or putting the ring over the glove!

I love the look of gloves. I am also wearing opera length gloves with my strapless dress- even at my August wedding. I think its so elegant!

I am also wearing gloves with my strapless dress, I'm pretty sure that I will remove the one glove for the ceremony. I do want my pictures to have me wearing the gloves though.
