Are gloves in or out these days? The model in my dress is wearing them and they look good on her. Is anyone wearing gloves. Do you think they make your arms look fat if you aren't super thin.

Personally, I am not a fan. I think its more flattering to have 'naked' arms

Not wearing gloves but it wouldn't look good with my dress. Not a big fan of them in general. With certain dresses and on some people it looks great though. I guess what I'm saying is do whatever you feel comfortable with but it's definitely not out of style.

I'm not a fan...IMO they make you look like you're playing 'dress up'...They just seem silly to me.
Also, they aren't very flattering unless you have really thin arms...

It's all about personal opinion. I love gloves and wish I could have worn them; a lot of people said no because its a June wedding.

I agree somewhat....they do remind me of 'dress up' but theres nothing wrong with that....thats exactly what your doing.

I'm not a fan...but I've seen several [recent] pics of ladies wearing them. Since I married in the summer, it wasn't even something I gave consideration to.

I did not, I really don't like them. The funny thing is though when I was a little kid I always wanted to wear them! When I grew up I didn't like them anymore. Wierd.

Aww Darlene, thank you!! The model who wore my dress had them on and I went back and forth with them. Originally I wasn't going to wear them but then 2 weeks before the wedding my Grandma bought them for me. We had an outside ceremony and since it was windy out I'm glad I had them. I wore them for the pics and then took them off for the reception.
I think whatever you want to wear on your day is 'in.' Its your day...wear what you want.

I like those kind of gloves because your fingers show through, and you still get the elegant look. I like that much better than a fully gloved hand in pics.

Actually-I agree with this. Forget what I said earlier. You should look the way you always pictured you would look. If that includes gloves-wear them in good health.

It all depends on the style of your dress. The model for my dress is wearing gloves.But then again, she is a model.. She would look good with anything.
I'm not wearing them though. My arms are too short & I would look rediculous.

I think it depends on the dress AND the girl. Sometimes I think it can look like a 1980's rock video....JMHO...
