gloves or no gloves

my sister is getting married next august. and she loves the look of gloves with a wedding gown. i was just wondering if girls are still wearing gloves. tia

I love the look of the long opera length gloves - especially with a strapless gown. Very elegant!

I'm not wearing gloves. I personally don't care for them, but I think they can really accent and look pretty with some dresses. My only concern for your sis is gloves in August might be a bit warm!

not crazy about gloves, but everyone is different.

I am superpicky, but I think you need to have great arms to even think about wearing them....JMHO

not a fan in general, but if I saw a bride wearing gloves in August, it would look a bit strange to me.

IMO gloves are also tricky when putting on the wedding band. The photographer inevitably gets a shot with the glove finger dangling off.

I would think it depends on the dress.
If the dress is very ornate, with sleeves, etc. then there should be no gloves. But if the dress is strapless and simple, they may work.

thats one of the main reasons i didnt wear them. i was on the fence, but i think it looks better without (on me anyway)
