thinking of a strapless dress, and my cousin wore one at her wedding and wore elbow length gloves with it. Is it a better look with the gloves, or would it be better without?
Consider the fact most likely going to be a winter evening wedding. Trying to figure things out so it will go smoother later.
Thanks!!

Re: gloves or no gloves
It's completely a personal choice.
I don't like the look with gloves at all, but others love it. Try on gloves with the dress and see how you like it!

Re: gloves or no gloves
personal choice but I hate gloves and don't think they look that good in pics and on larger girls they look horrible. We were a Winter Wedding and my girls used shawls and were fine

Re: gloves or no gloves
I don't think it's so much 'better', it really depends on how you like it. My dress was a halter and the model had gloves on in the pics. So I got fingerless gloves and wore them for my outside ceremony and then took them off for the reception. Either way was beautiful, I'm glad I had them!!

Re: gloves or no gloves
was also thinking an ivory cape and ivory muffs for the BMs instead of flowers, depending on the weather

I hate gloves HOWEVER, we had to wear them for a friends wedding (Long, red spagetti strap gown with elbow length red gloves )and it looked beautiful!!! It actually looked better with them then w/out them (BTW this was a Feb wedding)

Its a personal thing, but in my opinion, gloves should be left to winter.

Re: gloves or no gloves
we are getting married in January (not sure on year yet, but the month we know, for some reason) so I was thinking of what looked elegant and would help keep my BM warm. I just have to be careful, my MOH is a size 28, so not sure if it would work on the BMs

I agree it's all your own personal choice. I like gloves with some dresses but not with others. Personally I wouldn't wear gloves.

Re: gloves or no gloves
I agree it's definitley a personal choice. Ask yourself this will you like th elook with gloves years from now? If so then it's the right choice for you. If not then skip the gloves and brave the cold. You'll be so hyped and charged from the events going on you may not even notice the weather. Or better yet you may get beautiful weather like the weather we are having now.
