I was just playing with my spy pen light in the dark and noticed my e-ring diamond was glowing blue.. when i shut the black light off, the diamond was still glowing for a few minutes. Is this normal?
i never heard of that...i want a glowing diamond!!!

its called fluerescence. It is a characteristic of about half the diamonds out there! Mine has it and when we go to clubs that have black lights, it shines a bright blue...check out this link: Diamonds Isnt it awesome?? I loveeeeee that my diamond has it! It also makes the diamond look much whiter than it actually is because the blue cancels out any yellowish tint.

Mine too!! The first time I was in a club with a black light I was sooo embarassed. I was like, ummmm, my ring is fake!!!! But then I googled it and I felt much better! It even glows when I get a mani and it's the coolest thing!
OOhh good lol i feel much better now!! I made my sister put her ring under the black light and it didnt glow so i thought something was up..
I found out one of my side stomes did this when I was in the tanning booth and freaked out. but its normal
