Glucose test

YAY! I passed the test so I don't have to take the 3 hour test. However, the doctor said that my hemoglobin is low (which is common with pregnant women, she said) so I have to take a low dose of iron pills. I always knew that I was anemic so this is no surprise for me.

Thank God I don't have to take that other test though...

I have to take that test next week....How many viles of blood do they take? I'm not to good at giving blood.

It really wasn't that bad. She poked me and took a little bit of blood and that was it!

Wow, Stefanie. My Dr. just called me and told me the same thing! I passed the glucose test but my iron level is low.

He wants me to take 325 mg of Ferrus Sulfate twice a day. Would you mind me asking the dose of iron you are taking.?

I am afraid now. Becuase I am VERY regular. He told me I might get constipated! :((

My doctor said to take the lowest dose (every day) of iron pills I could find so I went to GNC yesterday and got iron pills (81mg). Then she said that if I have a problem with the bathroom...take a stool softener....great....

Oh my, he told me to take 325 mg twice a day! :0 Holy cow!

He said my hemoglobin was 10. Do you know what yours was?

No...they didn't tell me what my hemoglobin was at all...she just told me that I need a low dose iron pill.

My doctor is SO secretive!

:) Well I called and begged him to tell me how anemic I was.. He said it was 10. I heard anything under 12 is anemic, so it didn't seem that bad to me, but he is putting me on such high dose of Iron.. :(
