I really need your help. My favors consist of a small glass ice bucket and mini champagne bottle. I'm placing the bottle inside of the bucket and need it to stick so that they don't bang against each other and break. I was considering using glue dots so that they can peel right off when people are ready to use the ice bucket. Any suggestions?

Re: Glue for Favors
is there something you can put in the bottom of the bucket, like plant moss or tissue paper, that will keep the bottle sturdy? That way you dont risk the bottle being stuck permanently with the glue.

Actually I am putting some shredded paper in the bucket which gives the illusion of ice but the bottle is heavy and won't stay up right.

If you use the glue dots on the bottom of the bottle I would use a clear celophane around the bottle. This way the bottle will be sturdy and it will also look like the bottle is sitting in ice.

Thanks, that's a great suggestion, I'm going to try that.

Re: Glue for Favors
The people that make glue dots also make glue lines. It's basically the same concept as glue dots except it's in a continuous line so you can cut it to any size you need. You can find them at AC Moore or Michaels.
