What do you plan on spending for your GMs and BMs?
I was thinking about 80 each (GMs) I haven't figured out BMs yet since I don't know the neckline of their dresses (assuming it will be jewelry)

Well we haven't even picked GM yet, but I figure maybe around $100. I like the idea of a flip camera or something else techy because they're those type of guys.
For the BM's I think I'll be spending a lot more being that they do a lot more and they're such good friends. Right now I'm looking at doing a spa day at East wind the day before and thats like $150 a person. I also want to get their jewelry for the day of, but we can't think about that until we pick dresses.

Is that not enough?

FH as not even told his guys yet let alone gifts. We are spending about 20 dollars each on the bridal party. I went a little over for the girls because i wanted to get them tank tops as well. My FMIL made their day of jewerly for them, Earrings and necklaces. yay another thing done I also went online to thingsremembered.com and ordered them mirrored compacts i had them engraved. They were about 14.99 before tax and shipping. I will be giving the girls their tank tops when we go to lunch after BM dress shopping the DOJ will be given out at the reshearl dinner which my FILs will be throwing. Thank god for that. So will the compacts. The day of jewlerly is simple rhinestone gem necklaces with matching earrings.

FOR THE GMS, FH WAS THINKING EITHER A NICE WATCH OR A COACH WALLET OR PERHAPS A PERSONALIZED CASE WITH MATCHING MONEY HOLDER, CUFF LINKS AND TIE CLIP INSIDE IT OR SOMETHING TECHY...PROBABLY SPENDING ABOUT $100/EACH.
AS FOR THE BMS, I HAVE NO IDEA!...EACH OF MY LADIES IS SO DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS...I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT DOJ, BUT I FEEL THAT ITS NOT REALLY A PRACTICAL GIFT, MAYBE 2 OF THE GIRLS WILL REWEAR THEM....THEN I THOUGHT ABOUT HAIR AND MAKEUP FOR THE DAY OF, BUT 1 GIRL ALWAYS DOES HER OWN MAKEUP AMAZINGLY AND ANOTHER GIRL HAS A SOMEWHAT MANLY HAIRCUT AND WILL REQUIRE NO 'STYLING' THAT’S HOW SHORT IT IS....THEN I THOUGHT GIFT CARDS, BUT AS USEFUL AS THEY WOULD BE, THEY ARE SO IMPERSONAL...SO IDK....

FH and I want to do something different for each person, I'm sure some of the small things will be the same across the board for the bridesmaids but as far as the 'main gift' i want it to be personal. The best gift I ever got from being in a wedding was a Marc Jacobs clutch, I still rock it 5 years later...I want to give them something they'll LOVE and always use so it doesn't just feel like 'another bridesmaids gift'. FH wants to do the same with the guys, I suggested sports tix for them for their favorite team or concert tix...guys are easier than girls.

I think we will end up spending about $150 on each GM and BM. We have a small party, 4-5 ppl total. FH's guys are big hockey fans so he said he'd like to get them each real jersey's of their fave team. The girls I will most likely get Spa gift certificates, they love their massages, and I'm not sure what else.

i think the amout of money you will spend depends on your budget and how many are in your wedding party. i have two BMs (maybe three?) and two GM, so we will spend closer to $200 a piece, but we don't have to give a whole lot of gifts.

I was just thinking about this and really am clueless. I cant even talk about it bc one of my BM's is a bride on here. lol
I guess I will post this in about 6 months when it's 2012 and some of our boardies have married.

ha I have no idea what I'd do for the BM's because we're all each others..nor would I post it because some stalk my posts.
For the GM I just randomly had an idea to get a small additional gift for them ----fandango credits because FH had this fandango scam going and they all went to the movies with him with 'free' tickets and then FH had to pay for all those movies. I think that would be hilarious...but sorry it doesnt really help anybody the real gift-- idk
