GM vent!

GM vent!

My wedding is in 12 days and I have a groomsman who STILL has not gotten measured. Last week he sent me a message on FB w/ his clothes size. I had FH explain to him that he needs to get measured. As of today he is the ONLY guy who has yet to me measured. Now I get a message from on him on FB that he has a tux and he is just going to wear that and rent the accessories.

WHAT? NO! Everyone needs to have the same tux! I tried to very nicely say that it will be very noticeable in the pics and that everyone needs to have the same tux - hopefully it ends at that. I can't talk to FH until about 1AM - once I get a hold of him I'll let him handle it. But seriously? How much do you REALLy think your going to save by just renting accessories? Grrr.

Oh no!!!!! Did you talk to your tux shop??? Mine asked that all tux sizes be place almost 3 weeks before the wedding...

They said that at this point he needs to call in the sizes. I dont know what else to do:(

ugh!!! I'd go to his house and take him to get measured. This is one thing I'm not looking forward to - I gave the GM's a deadline 2 weeks earlier that it actually is incase FH has to take them to get measured himself.

Honestly, I'd call him and say he either gets measured by end of day today or you're going to have to ask him to step down from being a GM. He's being a jerk, imagine what he'll be like day of. It's not being an absent-minded guy at this point, it's a complete lack of respect.
