I have been made to eat my own foot this weekend....after months of lamenting that we are doing this all alone, we received a very generous early wedding gift from (in my view) probably the most unlikely source, my mom.
I was completely blown away by this (I cried and BEGGED her to take it back b/c I know this was hard for her to do) but she insisted, so now we are a tad bit richer in wallet than we was on Friday, but so much richer in spirit, which had been lacking to a certain extent.
mom's do work in funny ways too.
