GODMOTHERS

Is anyone giving a corsage to their Godmother. My Godmother has been a big part of my life and I would like to show appreciation but I'm not sure if she has a corsage and so does my mother people won't know who is who? Maybe I can get her a smaller corsage than my mom?

Is anyone doing anything like that?

Absolutely as well. My Godmother has been a large part of my life too. I am also getting them for all grandmothers.

We are giving one to our godmothers because they are bringing up the gifts with our godfathers (who are getting a boutinerre).

We did. They were single ivory rose corsages.

I gave my godmother a corsage. It had different flowers than my mom and a different color ribbon. I also had my godmother do a reading, so she was getting one anyway!!

My Godmother disappeared. Pat's Godmother is doing a reading so we will get her a corsage.

What about if you don't want to give anything to your Godfather. Does it look bad if I don't give him anything

That's my dilemma. We are both close to our Godmothers. Mine helped with my shower, she is getting her hair & makeup done with us, FH's is doing our calligrapghy, she helped get me to my shower, her sons are the groomsmen.

So we are getting them 1 rose corsages, while our mother's have 2 & our grandmother's have single orchids.

They are both our mother's sisters. Our father's brothers are our Godfathers, but we aren't as close with them. As of now we aren't getting them boutenierres. I'llsee how guilty I feel when it gets closer.

We may make our Godmothers readers anyway, so then it won't be as obvious that our Godmothers have flowers & not our Godfathers.
