Godparents..

what did you give your godchild on thier christening and did you buy the child a christening outfit?

My son's godparents split the cost of his outfit. They each got him a piece of Jewlery ( one got a cross the other an Id bracelet) and they each gave a savings bond.

I bought her gown and accesories and a white gold heart bracelet. The Godfather bought her a cross and chain.

i bought both my god daughter and god son there baptism outfits and gave them a faith hope and charity 18k pin and a bond

I was always told that the godmother buys the christening gown, and the godfather buys the cross. So I bought my goddaughter and my godson their cruxifixes and bonds.

Well my goddaughter has 2 Godmothers me and her aunt...I always felt like the Junior Godmother....her aunt bought her the gown....I became Godmother when I was like 18 and I had no money I think I gave a bond??
