Going Away...

Well, DH and I have finally decided to take off for a weekend without Ryan. We leave on Friday. I am so torn about it!! We are anxious for some time alone for the weekend - and we'll be getting pampered at a spa, but the thought of leaving my boy for 2 nights and 3 days just makes me vaguely nauseous!!

My Mom and Dad are coming to stay with him and I know he (and they) will have a ball, but it is really hard to think about not putting him to bed, etc. etc. I'm so glad for a little time with Bob to relax and enjoy, but boy am I going to miss my boy!!

I totally understand how you feel, but the 'grown up' vacation will do you good. Just keep reminding yourself that Ryan is going to have THE BEST care.

Oh, Lee! I'm feeling your pain. Its hard for me to be away from the baby for an evening shopping (like tonight) with my mom w/o feeling like I need to call every 5 minutes & check to see what's happening.

BUT THE SPA!!!! You need & deserve this. And you'll have beautiful weather for the weekend. What a bonus!!

Enjoy ... I'll be thinking of you .. of course I'll be feeling jealous of your spa ....

oh you are going to have the BEST time - he'lll have an absolute blast. Before you know it you'll be planning these getaways just a little bit more often!
