Going away bachlor/bachlorette weekends

My fi is going to go away for a long weekend about a month before the wedding with a few friends for a guys weekend. They are going to go to Memphis, TN. They say its like Las Vegas except cheaper and a heck of a lot closer.

Well, now my fi sister says why don't the girls do something that weekend and go away. Fine. But his sister has to bring her daughter who is 2 1/2. And I think only 1 other person will come. I don't think any of my friends will come because of money and for other reasons so it will be me, 2 other adults and a child with us for 3 days. Would I be wrong to say thank you but no thank you. I figured that weekend I could have the bridal brunch.

As nice as it is of her, just remember that this is your special time - it will be the only time. So just be happy with whatever you decide. Perhaps you could just say that although your FH is going away, that wasn't what you had in mind exactly. Whatever you decide, I'm sure they will respect your wishes. Good luck and have fun! :)
