going back to a photographer a 2nd time?

is it okay to go back to a photographer a 2nd time? we finally narrowed it down to 4 that we like, but we've been seeing about 4 a week for over a month. so therefore we want to meet with them, and be reminded of their work, etc again. or at least ask more questions we hadn't thought of the first time. is that okay to do? has anyone else done that before making their final choice?

Of course it's okay - you're being thorough in your search and once your questions are answered, you can sign a contract on the spot.

Yeah it's okay. I went to one photographer 3 times.

We did that...I think we met with the photographer twice before signing the contract and then once more afterwards so he could walk through the RH with us

what kind of questions did you ask the 2nd time? they didn't mind? my fiance keeps thinking they're gonna get annoyed with us lol.

the 1st time we met with him, he brought two sample albums and his laptop...FH and i mainly used this meeting as a 'get to know you' session and wanted to determine whether our personalities would mesh well. we asked basic questions about his style, package pricing, etc. we took back a copy of his contract to look over

after a few weeks, we met with him a 2nd time. we requested he bring a set of proofs so that we could see more 'raw' examples of his work. he brought a whole set of proofs for us to look through, and we went through some of the raw images on his laptop. by this time, we had revised the contract and used the meeting to go over our changes, and take a closer look at his work.

the third time we met him at the RH. this was basically to familiarize him with the RH and the flow of the day. he ended up asking us a lot of questions as to how we would set up the rooms etc. we ended up spending 3 hrs looking around!!

one more thing..don't worry about them getting annoyed. you're paying them for a level of service that they should be fully prepared to give. most vendors will be more than happy to answer all of your questions. and remember...they've probably dealt with worse brides

thats what I told my fiance. we're gonna be paying a ton of money, they should answer any questions. I mean most of these photographers we can't remember to well after seeing 20 others, but they stuck in our heads as the ones we liked the most.

Ask as many questions as you need to ask them. If they get annoyed at you, you probably wouldn't want to work with them anyways. All vendors should provide customer service, they are in a service industry. Good Luck.
