Ok Ed and I are in the new place. I have about one more carload of stuff to bring from the old place. I am a bit punchy working on about 6 hours of sleep for the past three nights. We have no time to enjoy our first night because we have to be up at the crack of dawn to take him to the airport. FH is going to Minneapolis for his fantasy football fiasco. Am i happy? NOT IN THE LEAST. But he made these plans and reservations LONG before we decided to move and it makes him happy so I get to unpack all alone. Other than that, life is peachy.

Oh did I mention he broke the toilet? So now I have no FH and no TOILET. HE BETTER BUY ME SOMETHING!!!! AND FAST!!!!

We'll miss you!!! Here's to a great move and hopefully you can enjoy the apt by the time FH comes back, even if it's sans toilet!!

Ed has to make this up to you! Leaving you to unpack, broken toilet (hope you have old pots! ). He better get you something NICE! If you need any help unpacking, John has to work Sat. afternoon, so I am free! I can bring some cheese! Yum!

Thanks for your continued support. I just wish he went to Wisconsin. Then I could look forward to him coming home. What the Heck is in Minneapolis besides the Mall of America?????

OK so I am COMPLETELY out of the old apartment. I got my full deposit back which COMPLETLY covers the cost of the move. I go to my new home with my new tank lever for the toilet only to find that now, the water is NOT going down and I am LIVID. FH did not tell me that he turned the water off. Now I am not stupid nor am I afraid to get my hands dirty but the toilet/plumbing thing, in my case, is best left to a big burly man. I called him in Minneapolis and told him to make a detour to Wisconsin on the way home if he expects to share a bed with me when he gets back. WHICH by the way is too damn hard! My bed was small but comfy. His bed is like sleeping on concrete!

Leslie, I can't believe you're stuck with a broken toilet and a rock bed for the weekend! Well, at least your computer is connected and you can chat with us. I hope Ed brings you a nice present when he comes home!
