going crazy

OK the weekend is almost here but really not--its so far away-- its the end of the month--- in my office that means at 3:45 you have to log off the system so we can do the end of month back up-- we don't get back on till around 1, 2pm the next day Hellooo what am I supposed to do all day tomorrow?????? FH said you better go to work, if you can do nothing and get $$$$ you can bear it

Re: going crazy

that is the worse! I have had days like that before! But it is the truth, if the company is going to pay you to sit there, then go do it! It is free money

Bring some magazines & search for some wedding ideas! That is a sure way to pass the time!

UGH - that stinks! They should give you all half days (and still pay ya!) If only it worked like that

Re: going crazy

That's weird!! We do our end of month back-up overnight. But I love it when the system is down, it's like free $$$!! Except there's always paperwork to be done. Well enjoy your time 'off', being bored is better than stressing over having to get something finished b4 leaving for a long weekend!
