FH gets here tomorrow night...THANK GOODNESS!! Ever since he slipped and I found out he's probably proposing this weekend I have been going apeshizz crazy!! Having trouble sleeping every night because I keep trying to envision how its going to happen, when he's going to do it...trying to figure out what my darn ring looks like (all I know is its 7/8 carat)...trying to resist checking the caller ID to see if he called my Dad to ask permission while I was at work...
Anyone have any tips on how to get my mind off this and be normal for a second? I'm excited for it to happen but I'll be relived when its over so that I can be a normal person again!

ya after we got engaged it really just got worse, because the planning started full on-and it has now consumed my life

I'm almost positive it is this weekend...the only reason he would change is because he would want it to be a surprise, but I know he wants to do it here and not in Ohio and the next time he is here is May and then July so its not like I won't know its coming either way.
If he DOES decide to wait longer....OMG I'll go TOTALLY insane and they'll have to put me in the looney bin!

distract yourself w figuring out what u are going to wear!!! thats what i would do.
i kind of had all my cute clothes set aside for FH and my trip to Italy, since we had been talking about it. i didnt think he had a ring yet, but i thought maybe we would get one there. anyway, he wound up proposing the week before we left!!!!! the only thing i wish i couldve changed....my outfit!!!! nothing was new - cuz i was saving all the good clothes for italy. and i didnt even have my eyebrows done, cuz i was waiting for before vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of course, i was thrilled and totally shocked. but that is still in the back of my head...like, if i only knew, i definately would have worn cuter clothes!!

Wow this is a GREAT idea!!!! I didn't even think about that...I'd rather stress about what to wear than when its coming

well i was half freckin dressed lol.. we were getting ready for dinner and i was all excited getting pretty in the bathroom putting on makeup and i had my dress pants on but i didnt change my top yet cuz i was doing my makeup and hes banging on the door for me to hurry up well i open the door n hes on his knee i was like omggg noooo get up what are you doing lol so how i didnt want it to happen lol especially wearing a bumy sleep t shirt lol

I was in my bathing suit!!! I mean when I was called to the stage I was in a cover up and bathing suit and sunglasses with a stupid headband in to hold my hair back while tanning... No make up, hair up like a rats nest... and as I was walking down to the stage where I was called to, all i kept thinking is...
OMG I FORGOT TO PUT MY FLIP FLOPS ON!!! I am barefoot!!! I mean I was on the lido deck of a cruise but honestly thats all I could think of, I am getting engaged and I have no shoes on ?!?!?!

FH and I were both in our underwear and I had toothpaste in my mouth...beat that!!!
