Make sure you post how it was.. Im also a VIP bride and havent had my tasting yet, Im dying to know how the food is

So we're back! OK, maybe I misunderstood what we were going for today.

Basically there was a wedding, and we went earlier to taste their selections. FH and I went with my parents. They brought to the table 3 different starters for us to try and see what we liked. Those were all pretty good. Then they brought 3 different entrees, to be honest we weren't thrilled with the selections, or at least how the bride and groom had chose to have them prepared. There was a chicken, a red snapper and a cheateau briand. We were told to also pay attention to the way the food was displayed. The chicken and the filet mignon looked really nice, the fish on the other hand was sloppy. The dessert was out of this world. I think they have a baker on-site, they served us a red-velvet cake which was to die for with a side of chocolate mouse so good. I am so picky when it comes to cakes, really not a fan, but this was sooo good. We are def getting a red velvet cake.

I'm not concerned about the entrees, I think they weren't to our taste, although we liked the way the filet mignon was prepared.

I was a little upset with our Banquet Manager, as I thought he was going to be there. And I thought we were going to do everything today, but now we have to go back to finalize things, and we were told not with our BM. Oh well, I'm sure it will all work out. All in all it was a good experience, and I have been told that the food is out of this world there! Girls who are getting married there, I don't think we have anything to worry about.
