Going into wedding overload

Going into wedding overload

Anybody else want to buy everything they see? This is getting ridiculous. I want to buy tulle to drape each pew, even though no one will be sitting in them. I bought a pew bow for almost every pew in the church I can't seem to stop myslef. This happening to anyone else?

yes, there are soooo many things i'd like to buy and do...BUT...i need to get a grip and watch my finances.

i keep telling myself 'it's only one day, it's only one day, it's only one day...'

and

'no one will notice, don't waste the $$, no one will notice, don't waste the $$, no one will notice, don't waste the $$...

This wedding was gonna be SO much smaller than it's ended up being. My invites alone have gotten pretty elaborate.

But really, no one will notice the small things.

Take it from me...there are things that you are going to do for this wedding that ONLY you will notice and there are other things that you will think people wont notice and they do. One HUGE compliment that I got the day of my wedding from many people was how everything was co coordinated. I stayed within the fall theme and used gold as my main color and many people picked up on it!

If it makes you happy to put tulle on every pew, then do it because you may look back at your day and regrete that you didnt do it. Of course there is always the overload of stuff that could happen also!! too much of a good thing isnt good!

Enjoy your planning! It only happens once (hopefully!! )

I'm just like that! I keep spending a little here, a little there and I'm not even counting that into my budget. I haven't even picked out my BK dresses, but I have their gifts already! lol! I just can't stop myself. I feel like as long as I'm getting a good deal than it's ok, but really everything is starting to add up.

Exactly! I keep on convincing myself that my BMs do no need that cute tote on Lillian Vernon's site when I've already gotten them stuff, but my brain keeps on telling me they do.
