Going on Vacation with a 2 months old? Please help!
We are thinking of going to Jersey Shore in the begining of June. Is that feasable or are we crazy? What would we need to have with us? Can the baby go into a special kiddy pool (with me of course)? Can you use sunscreen on a 2 months old? HELP!

It is fine. Dont keep him out in the sun too long. I believe coppertone makes baby sunblock 45-50 spf.

That;s probably the besttime, you can take babies anywhere as long as they are good eaters and sleepers.

I was told no sunscreen until the baby is at least 6 months old, even the infant sunscreen. I would check with your doctor first.

I think it depends on the baby if it will work out well - my baby was colic and cranky - I couldn't go anywhere with him because he was constantly cranky and crying. This didn't start until 4 weeks or so and lasted until about week 10 or so. I still worry about him in public places because he isn't 100% yet - but getting close. But if you have an easier baby - go and have fun!!!!!!
I saw some cute thing you can put the baby in - similar to the baby bjorn - for the pool - check it out and see if it is for little babies.

We took Joseph to the beach when he was four months old for a week. It was fine. You might want to consider getting an umbrella that attaches to your stroller for walking around and we also had something like this for him which was great on the beach. We just put his carrier inside so he could sleep in shade. Baby Tent
