Im sitting here looking out my window and there are 2 men going through my neighbors 10 yard dumpster... its in their driveway. These are strangers... is that legal or are they tresspassing?
I feel like that would be illegal...perhaps you can call a local police department and inquire.....that could be dangerous for your neighbor
if its in the driveway, I believe it is considered tresspassing.
If its on their driveway I don't think they can be there. Is there anyway you can get in touch with your neighbors?
Ok, that was weird... wouldnt you know I can see the police station from my house and the cops have yet to arrive. They are gone. They were in the dumpster going through it and they took some stuff. I can see a piece of lattice hanging over the side of the dumpster which they had to move to get to something they wanted... they left it hanging. HOW RUDE! They are gone but I am going to tell my neighbor about them when I see them and find out what they want me to do if/when they come back!
ACK! That's definitely trespassing, AND, can be a serious issue if they left any kind of mail in their trash with their address, SSN, etc. I've heard of this before, where people go through your trash, take out a credit card application that was tossed, fill it out, and proceed to DESTROY the person's credit. Definitely tell your neighbors, and tell them to alert every credit reporting agency of possible fraud....
