Going to a 'Honeymoon Shower' this weekend... Need help

So I was invited to a Honeymoon shower, where the couple only registered with a travel agent. Though I don't agree with this, I'm going to make a donation towards their Honeymoon to Spain.

Here's the kicker... they are having a 'Honeymoon Wishing Well'

What the heck to I put in the wishing well?? Travel soap??

Any Ideas for me???

I've never heard of this....Is this in lieu of the Bridal Shower? Seems kinda odd to me. I guess travel size soaps, shampoos?

Yes it is. It is very odd. I'm not a fan of it at all.

Eh, I would take the honeymoon registry as a suggestion, as with any registry. Choose to do it, or ignore and get something else. Maybe a magazine or book for the flight for the wishing well?

How about a Spanish-English dictionary?
First aid kit
Immodium or pepto
Sunglasses
Snacks for the plane trip
Travel candle for the hotel room
travel pillow for the plane

This might be a little much. But, my friend gave me a gift certificate to a restaurant in Aruba and another did a gc to the spa in the Hyatt, where we stayed.

Sad, but true. We take for granted a lot of the things we do here that are considered offensive in other countries. As well as the fact that there are things acceptable in other countries (like grabbing and pinching women) that are not okay here.

It is probably wise to know some of those things to avoid having DH get into a fight with someone as he defends your honor. Heroism is nice, but the honeymoon should be about having fun.

i dont like this idea either....

but an idea could be to give some sort of gift certificate to get their film developed...

anything that people would need for a trip you could put into the wishing well

or you could make a basket- just married flip flops- or hat

cant have enough film
