Going to a wedding at the Crescent Beach Club on Saturday... REVIEW IS UP IN BHB

I will give a mini review afterwards.

Anyone want me to be on the lookout for anything in particular?

hmmmm.....how about everything! i'm so anxious about having it there.....just the flow of service....like if you had to wait a long time for the dinner.....quality of food....dance floor....oh just anything!....i need to see a wedding in action there!

Hey I went to my friends wedding there last year and it was great , the cocktail hour was amazing, especiallyt the setting right by the beach.

I don't think you have naything to worry about, but as a bride myself I know that its hard not to worry.

Please write a mini-review! There arent enough reviews of the CBC on here! I am curious about the drink service at the tables during the reception. Oh, and what color sceme did the bride use for the reception decorations. Thank you for offering!

yes! All this and so much more! We do need more first hand info. about the details at the Crescent! Thank you so much for offering!

I would also like to know which appetizers they chose, what the desserts consisted of, how the sound was if they had a band/DJ, what they did with the lighting (forgot if you said it's a day or night wedding), how the cake was (and what kind it was), etc.

Thank you so much for doing this for us! I can't wait to have our wedding there, but I've never BEEN to a wedding there! Can I be your date? lol

You have to let us know what type of centerpieces they chose (high or low) and if there were a lot of people outside at the bar during the wedding. I am nervous that everyone willbe hanging out in that room with the bar instead of in the other room.

i am also a little nervous about people congregating around the bar which is outside the reception room during the wedding. maybe you could check that out for us? i can't wait to have my wedding there. i've only heard great things about the crescent, so i'm not really concerned about much! thanks!

I went to a wedding there a few years ago &it was spectacular.

There is really no way to congregate around the bar, b/c they way they set it up there is really no place to set a drink down. The waitstaff was very good at keeping our glasses full as well so we did not need to go and actually get a drink too often.

I didn't notice anyone congregating around the bar, but I had a Sunday afternoon wedding. I don't think there was a lot of heavy drinking going on, but I wasn't really paying attention. I was never out at the bar b/c our attendant always made sure our glasses were full.

just make sure there isn't a World Series going on at the bar (we made sure ours was in November since the YANKEES WILL BE IN THE WORLD SERIES!). I don't think there is a television at the bar right outside the reception, but there is one upstairs in the restaurant part, I think. Just have a guard making sure guys (and girls, like me) don't find their way to that television! lol
