Water's Edge is awesome!!! Two of my cousins got married there about 6 years ago (3 months apart from each other). The view is awesome and the food was really great.

I live in the citylights building, so I can see the Water's edge from my window - It's a great place with a really wonderful view of the east side of manhattan.Have a nice time!

Beautiful stunning views. Bring a sweater! If they have an outdoor wedding on the water (which almost everyone tries for) it gets quite nippy.

Re: Going to a wedding at Waters Edge in Queens tonight...
I've never been there for a wedding but last year, the day of the big blackout, I was stuck in Manhattan (work here) and had to get home (Northport)...I walked up town, across the 59th Street bridge and ended up in Queens (Long Island City)...cell phones would work, couldnt get a cab or a bus, couldnt reach anyone at home...wasnt in a good neighborhood. I finally ended up at Waters Edge and asked if I could sit and try and make a call on their pay phone (this was after walking for literally FOUR hours straight and it was getting dark out). They were so rude to me and acted like I was tring to rob the place. I was so disgusted with them. But, Like I said...it wasnt a wedding...but you would think they would be a little compassionate with people. The surrounding neighborhood is pretty shady...and it was getting dark... but anyway...

I went to a wedding there in January. The neighborhood is very commercial and sort of scary looking at night, but the place and views are lovely. Food is really wonderful! Enjoy !Welcome New Vendors
