Better yet -- where should I look for something TO wear? I'm not showing yet and don't know if I will be by then (I'll be about 21 weeks) but I don't know where to start looking.
Should I look at maternity dresses or should I just try to find something in a bigger size?

You'll probably have to wait until you get closer to the wedding to see what your actual size is going to be. I wouldn't get something in a bigger size, because it probably wouldn't fit you right in all the right places. I would look for maternity dresses or seperates. Maybe you can find a maternity dressy skirt and top. I search online @ motherhood and mimi maternity. If you really want to spend some $$$ check A Pea in a Pod...

I would wait as close as you can. But for me at 21 weeks, I would have went a size or two because at that point maternity wasn't working for me. Separates are also great options. You can get a regular skirt (maybe with an elastic waistband to go over or under the belly) and a pretty shirt for the top (maternity or non depending on where you are at that point). I was lucky I had all my formal events at only 6 weeks!

Try oldnavy maternity. I got a very inexpensive maternity dress that I wore for a wedding.

I would wait, also. I'm heading to a wedding when I'm 20 weeks myself. From what my doc says, I probably won't start showing until then anyway, so I'm holding out to buy a dress. I have a couple of stretchy (but fitted) black & maroon dresses that I could swing for then. Double check your closet to see if there's anything that can pass with a lil tummy.
