Going to a wedding in an hour and....

being from NYC (born and breed)...9/11 is always a hard day. I've already cried like 5 times today and i'm worried that i'm gonna ruin my makeup! Yea, i'm shallow....I know once i get to the reception and see all my friends i'll be fine....but it still stinks that i feel poopy today and i'm going to a good friends wedding..
Sorry just needed to vent.

Its crazy how it feels like it was just yesterday. Going back into the city through the 59th st bridge FH and I saw the lights from WTC just gave me such a heavy feeling in my chest how it feels so fresh as if it just happened. How some ppl can have such disregard to LIFE and PEACE!

I know exactly how you feel. We were driving around today with wedding errands and looking up at the sky and how clear it was reminded me of the weather that day. It was such a clear day that morning. It brought it all back and made it hard to shop.

So the wedding went well...i'll post a review later (It was at the NY Botanical gardens, Abagail kirsh).
But when i got home...and layed in bed...of course i put on the history channel and was up until 3am watching 9-11 documentaries. So depressing!

I completely understand. I had a wedding to go to for a family member and I was just not feeling it. To me it's such a hard day to want to 'celebrate' something, I totally dragged my feet getting ready and once I saw all of my family it was fine but it was still weird.
