at Larkfield Manor!!!! Any LM brides want me to look out for anything in particular??
Let you know how it goes!!!
UPDATE: ok so let me start by saying that the last time i was at the LM was for a sweet 16 like 7 years ago, and theyve definitely done a LOT of updating!!! it looks soooo much nicer!!
when we drovie in, the bride/groom were taking pics in the garden area, loved the fact that all of the guests were able to see them, you usually never see the bride/groom until after CH
the CH area was GORGEOUSSSSS!!!!!!! they had a few tables set up inside, but most of guests were outside on a beautiful patio where the bp was taking pics under the gazebo behind them, i loved it out there! the food was much better than i remebmber and they had a great selection!
they were in the smaller ballroom i think, and overall it was verrrry pretty!!!! the only thing was it was kinda hard to see the bride/groom because they were in the middle of the ballroom facing the door, there was a row of table on each side of the dance floor facing either back or front, but nonetheless they werent sitting too much lol just noticed it when it came time for the speeches
the dance floor was HUGE and we all had plenty of room which was great!!!
The service was awesome, people kept coming up to the table throughout the night asking us if if we needed anything at all.... only 2 really minor things (im knit picking ony cuz id want to know everything lol) -- 1) they forgot to fill my glass with champagne cuz i think i was the corner seat which you couldnt reach to very well, but fh poured me some of his lol and 2) the silverware kept getting taken away but not replaced so byt the time dinner came we either didnnt have a fork or we didnt have a knife BUT they have little stations set up every few table with these essentials so as soon as we told them they brought it out in like .2 seconds haha P.S. loved the dinner the best!!! filet mignon was AWESOME!
They had a viennesse hour as well which was soooo goood!!!! the only thing is they had dimmed the light so much in that room it was kinda hard to see the stations the way they had them set up... i almost missed the chocolate fountains because they werein a dark corner and saw them on my way out.... i personally would have made that the center station, but other than lighting it was great!!! they had sooo much! i was ready to explode!
I have pics of the cake an d cp's ill upload later
overall, we had a great time, food and service were great and grounds were beautiful!!
half the people prob didnt notice the stuff i did but you know how us bride-tobe's are soooo critical now lol
in terms of vendors: Photographer - Giovanni (my photographer too!!! lol he was amazing that day he came up and said hello as well and was getting shots from sick angles) Band/DJ - greek band and dj so not much help to most but for the greeksters it was Fantasia Video - Motion Images
and thats all i know!
