I'm going to a wedding there in September & have never been up that way...looking forward to it!! Also, about how far is it? How long would it take from the south shore in Nassau (seaford area) to the country club?

Re: Going to a wedding tomorrow at VIP Country Club
I've been to 3 weddings there and the place is amazing!! We loved everything about it, but they were way out of our price range...For our same package it was like $180 a head
We are booking Beckwith Pointe, which is right down the road from VIP. The food is amazing and the view is breath taking!
Without traffic I would say it would probably take close to 1/2 an hour to get there from Nassua....
If anyone needs any info on any of the Westchester Catering halls just let me know...

You can take pictures next door at the Davenport park. In the spring it's pretty nice. Also....most photographers will allow you to choose another place to take pics so you can always do that before the wedding if there's a place you really want photos. I was concerned about this also.

My FH lives in New Rochelle so I am there ALLL the time.....it takes me a little under a half hour to get there from West Hempstead....I would imagine that from Seaford it would take about 45 minutes....
New Rochelle high school is a beautiful place to take pictures.....it is right in North Avenue and it has a fountain and everything. Good luck!
