Going to a wedding tonight... updated with a little review!!!

Ok had a blast last night at the wedding... my legs are killing me and my hangover finally went away!! The food was amazing, it was so good, from the cocktail hour to the dinner and everything in between. The Venetian hour was out of control.. i wish i would have saved room to eat all that good stuff... deff not good for the diet . everywhere you looked it was something better, and the best part was they gave a tin so you could bring home what ever you would like to have. The place is very nice and love the water view. The only thing that i did not like about it was the many different parties going on there, i think there was 3 going on, you were always seeing all these different people. (i personally dont like that) I have to say some of the guys that were working there werent the nicest of people, FH and I got yelled out bc we went outside in the back and we werent allowed there bc our parties cocktail hour was over, got a little annoyed about that. but other then that the service was great. We mad great friends with our waiter, and our cups were never empty !! Anyone that was wondering about the pumpkins, there are so little of them that im sure they can get rid of them, i saw maybe 6, but they do have one huge one(prolly cant move that) but it was not bad at all... All in all, we had a great time and everything was beautiful!!

Yup only two parties at a time. We had different wedding going on during our wedding and we didn't even notice. In fact, we didn't tell my dad because I knew he would be annoyed and after the fact we told him and he was shocked! CLM does a great job of staggering the parties so you don't see anyone!

Hate to rain on anyone's parade but there can absolutely be 3 parties going on. My wedding was a Sat night and there were only 2 parties at night but when I showed up before the reception I was getting ready to go out on the boat for my entrance I noticed there was a party in the main ballroom, a party finishing up upstairs, a party in the basement and my cocktail hr starting in the CH room. SO yes there can be tons of people there at one time. Did I notice any problems....not at all, I would not have known all of this if it wasn't for walking past the basement room to go to the dock. Your guests might see other people but as a bride you are too busy to notice much of anything going on around you.

they scatter weddings so you may see people leabving when you are coming for yours or vice versa, but they do not have 2 weddings at once. Maybe other parties but not weddings, that i know for sure!
