so im a bm in a friends wedding who is also an 09'er but not on the website :( been tryin to get her to join, shes not a computer person
anways shes havin her engagment party in a few weeks and i dont know if im suppose to get something for her or get give money or what?

For my e-party i didnt register either cause i was hoping to get some cash to pay for the wedding. I didnt like telling people that when they asked but if your friend didnt register that may be why. HTH

definitely cash...we didnt want to register for that reason...cash is always helpful...or a gift card to a place that they might register at or want things from!

I would say to get her what is most useful to her... if she could use the money to help her pay for the wedding give her money or if she needs furnishings for her house get her a gift.

did you have an engagment party? what did she give you?
your in her BP and she is in yours so you should give more money then average...
my engagment party is december and i am not registering until after it because i want money an engagement parry is a way of helping save for a wedding......
is it in a hall? is there a dj? do you know the prices of this hall? my engagement parrty is about 70pp and around where i live this is normal prices for an affair.....
when i go to an engagement parrty i always give about 100pp so for me and fh it would be a 200 gift...if i am in the BP then maybe i would give 250 or 300....that is my rule of thumb....
my sister just got married last year so i follow her list of gifts for family parrties....example my cousin just had an engagement parrty and gave my sister 150 for her 2005 engagement party so i gave my cousin 150 plus a really pretty picture album......
i have another cousins eparty in 2 weeks and i know she is coming to mine so basically i am giving her 200 and when my eparty comes guess what i will get 200 from her.....

no its not at a hall, its at her FH' parents house, their having a bbq no dj, just some good old fun
and im not having an egagement party so i dont know what to do about the even exchange thing, if ya know what i mean
