I made an appointment to go see the West Sayville Country Club and also Sunset Harbour. I've already been to the Brentwood Country Club, which I liked, and the price with their package could not be beat. My big thing is that since it's in the winter I won't be able to take pics outside, so I'm looking for something with some scenery inside that will make for some great pics. I also am trying to stay around $75 a head. If anyone has any feedback on these venues I would love to hear it. Thanks!

check out FH! you can definitely book for around that price.. especially in january! it just doesnt include everything like BCC does...

yessss fox hollow.... they quoted me $100 pp in june so in winter is def cheaper!! and the room is so pretttyyyy

I know that for January Jericho Terrace was about $75 before taxes and gratuity, so i'm not sure if you want to look there-it is beautiful though
I appreciate the suggestions, I am out in Westhampton so I am looking to stay a little further East, I think next week I will check out East WInd...
i was gonna suggest east wind as well.. giorgios maybe?

I would check Jericho Terrace, Chateau Briand(was there for a november wedding and they have a gorgeous photo studio in the place and of course the surroundings are beautiful as well) also check Fox HOllow and Wesbury Manor also has a place to take pictures in the inside!!

i got a quote from east wind for january (when it was my date) and it ranged from 85 pp to 135 pp. I thought it was a bit pricey compared to other quotes I got...

West Sayville CC quoted me 100$ for july 2010. Giorgios quoted me 149++ (this was my second choice). My parent's were married at Brentwood CC, so I really didn't look into it.

But the bigger room is available, have to guarantee 200 though.
East Wind quoted me $115pp for Nov, saturday evening, so figure about $20 less for January - march. A lot of reception places have packages for winter brides.
If your out east, check out Gurneys, Atlantica and some yacht clubs. I believe Gurneys has some special for the winter. Or what about some vineyards??
Wow, I must say I was very impressed with the West Sayville Country Club. Its very old house. The dancefloor is kind of off the dining room, but not totally seperate. Since it's so old, the room just has a lot of character and the view of the bay cannot be beat! And it's in my price range! I did not care for the Sunset Harbor, although their price can't be beat, it was a little too plain for my taste. So far its between Brentwood and West Sayville. The food at Brentwood you get so much more food. I think we'll look at maybe 2 more and then narrow it down from there. This is more exciting than I thought it would be!
