Ladies I am totally going to have a meltdown re: flowers. I have met with a couple florists so far and their prices are $$$$$$ (6-8K). I can't believe freakin' flowers are soooooo expensive. It is beyond depressing.

I want all white flowers...no roses
10 high centerpieces 1 high piece for staircase 10-15 low small cocktail compositions 1 low long card table composition 2 tall arrangements for ceremony my bouquet 6 bouquet 9 bouttineirs (sp?) 10-15 one flower decorations for ceremony chairs
it does not sound like much to me but the $$$ are nuts esp. when it will all end up in the trash that night! :(

Designs by Rose is very affordable.. my sister used them for her wedding last year.

Imo i think the staircase piece is what's hurting you and making the price go up.
I'm getting 16 high cp's 6 bm bo-k's 6 gm bouts 3 extra bouts corsage or nosegay for my mom and fmil 2 pieces for church ribbons for pews tree for card table throw away bok flower girl flowers umm.. yeah
for 3500.

where did you look?
I am getting a lot more than that (18 High CPs, more Bo-ks, Tall Arrangements for front Tables in RH etc) and I am paying $5250 at Pedestals.....I def think the quotes you got are high.

I am using Designs by Rose and they have been wonderful.
You mentioned you would like all white flowers, I will be having 15 Tall Calla Lillies & Orchids centerpieces. I have a sample pic she had done for a previous wedding, and I am seeing my sample Thursday. This is costing me $100/per centerpiece. Which is a really great price for all high and we get to keep the vases too.
I would check Designs by Rose. They are very responsive, professional, and will really work with you and help you to in every way with cutting costs.

i would check out flowers and designs by gina-she can totally give you a better price than that, she's sweet, caring, and involved..

i am using pedestals and i couldnt be happier....also we are using the alter arrangements for that staircase to save a couple hundred dollars....hth if you need any other info FM me xxooo

I would still look around ...... I got my 2 best quotes from designs by Rose and Lovin Oven. I am having 11 high cps and 12 low cps, 7bms, 7gms, throw bok,my bok, 2 moms, 2 dads, 2 gpas, 2 gmas and rose pedals.
