Going to hurt my bridal party Need Suffolk shower suggestions
As many of you know I posted on here a couple of months ago that I felt guilty for making my bridal party pay for my whole shower bc both my parents have passed. I even offered them money but was told no its your shower you did the same for us we don't mind. Come to find out bc I overheard a very disgruntled FH on the phone with one of my BMs that no one is helping my MOH who lives in FL and half the girls are whining about the cost even though they don't know what it is yet. FH told my BM that's no excuse we postponed the wedding for a year and they all knew it was coming up this year and we had even suggested to them to put aside $20 a month or such like we did for ALL of their weddings to pay for everything. He was livid and told her to stop eating out everyday and maybe they'd have money. Sorry so long.
Can you guys suggest any less expensive places in Suffolk to have a shower during the summer. I suggested and am calling to get prices for a

If your BM & MOH are planning and paying for your shower my recommendation would be in someones back yard.
I have been in a number of showers and most of them we (the BP) had to pay for the shower.
We looked into having it at a place or restaurant and when it came to it.... we were able to have more food and people when we had it a back yard.
some of the restaurants wanted 20-25 $ per person. That adds up pretty quickly.
Its up to you and more so the BP and what they can afford. A back yard shower could be just as nice and relaxing (at least you wont get kicked out after 4 hours on the dot).

the cheapest thing would be to have it at someones house. John harvards has i think lunch functions are about 20 a person...

I am so sorry you have to deal with. People can be so selfish.
What about irish Times in Holbrook? They have a private room and I am assuming they would be reasonable.
I'm actually going to try and call them today b/c FH and I met there and I sort of want to do the rehearsal dinner there

Lombardi's on the Bay has a brand new, GORGEOUS room. I wanted my wedding there but the room was too small. I'm not sure of the price for a shower but it can't hurt to call and find out!
