I might go looking at dresses on Friday. I need to pick up shoes for bridesmaid duty at David's and then head to Macy's for the bridesmaid fitting, so I figured I should maybe combine that with looking for a wedding gown for MY wedding. But I am scared! I don't want to be extra depressed about how fat I look and the dresses not fitting. And I really don't want to be dressing in front of a bunch of people. Embarassing! Ahhh!

So dont do it now - you have plenty of time - stay on track and in a couple monts your feel and look awesome and go then!

I hear you. All of your worries were my worries. It really isn't that bad after the first or second dress..you get over the trying on in front of people rather quick, but as for the feeling fat. Well, lets just say I am currently looking for a personal trainer to help me feel better about how I look. My advice to you is go with only one or two people who's opinion you trust and possibly someone who will keep you laughing through the whole process. Good Luck.

hi! if you don't lke changing in front of others (i know i don't) i would shop elsewhere for your dress! the consultant at david's would have me step out of the dressing room so she could slip the dress over my head. at macy the consultant insisted on coming in with me, which i didn't like. but at fantasias in rocky point and bridal suite in centereach i had much better trying on experiences!!! you go in the room alone and change yourself which i was much more comfy with. personally, i found the selection and prices to be great at both stores as well. ~lacey
