Going to look at halls.... UPDATED WITH A QUESTION***
Tomorrow I am going to go look at Marina Del Ray and The Grand Prospect Hall. Any advice you girls can give me?! Also, has anyone been to these halls?! Opinions are greatly appreciated!!!!

I've been to Marina Del Rey a couple of times, and have never been disappointed. Great location and great water views, with terraces right on Long Island Sound.

I wanted to go to the Grand Prospect Hall, bec I heard the decor in there is amazing but never had the chance to go. Its also right on the belt parkway, where it can be busy and noisy. Pl keep us posted. Have fun!!

I've heard great things about Marina Del Rey!!! I know many people that have been to events there and just rave about it. I actually had an appt to go see the place for my reception, however we walked into North Ritz and decided not to go anywhere else! lol Good Luck, let us know how it goes!!

We checked out the mairna Del Rey when we were looking. Wasnt really that impressed, but the view is nice.

Yes, you're looking to get THEIR business and they have sell themselves to you... if they work it the other way, I'd worry...

In the beginning I was afraid of offending vendors by having a list of questions to ask, but most actually thought it was a great idea! I walked in with my questions attached to my clipboard to make it easier for me to write responses and notes while we walked around. I also bolded one or two words in each question so that I could refer to it quickly in case they answered a question before I asked. It helped us keep the conversation flowing and definitely helped keep us from forgetting anything! That list came in so handy when we got home from visiting 4 different sites and couldn't remember the small differences between them!!

Personally, I would be wary of the ones that don't want to answer your questions or get defensive when they see that you brought a list of questions..
