I really don't know what to expect. I know I need to know the prices and what all is included... anything I should be asking when we go?

Welcome! You'll need to find out per person charges, % gratuity charged, minimum # of guests guaranteed, maximum # of guests you can fit in the room, what is included in the price (cocktail hour, appetizer, # of entree choices, dessert, wedding cake). How many hours the total affair is alotted. How many events take placed at the same time - if multiple how do they space them out.
That's a pretty good start. Some place will definitely strike your fancy!

... ask them if you can do a 'tasting' ! ... most dont do it anymore, but if you can go back one evening for a tasting to choose the menu - it's awesome !! (and delicious )

You may also want to find out price per plate for kids and other vendors (DJ, Photgrapher, etc.).

Thank-you!!! We're seeing Chateau La Mer and Venetian Yacht Club. I'm really stuck on the water. I love the beach so I want to get married outside right on the water.
I will be sure to ask all fo your questions and negotiate as much as possible!
