Going to talk with Pedestals tomorrow

We aren't booking yet because I still want to speak to Flower Michele but I will let you guys know how it goes.

We went to talk to Starlight Express DJs a few weeks ago and FH and I LOVED them! I think we are actually going with them. Also my dad's friend has worked with them on many occasions bc he sings like Frank Sinatra and does an act and he said they are amazing at weddings and all the events he has done with them everyone loves them. We shall see!

Thank you and I will! mini-vent: My dad just came in and ruined my mood because he saw me looking up the directions and was like 'where are you going?' I told him the florist and he said 'why?' I said because we want to check out prices. He was like 'Your wedding is two years away, the prices now are not going to be the same next year when you really book.' I don't answer because with my dad the best you can do is ignore him when he annoys you. However, I would like to start booking these types of things after the summer so we can still lock in on this years prices. Being my parents are paying for the wedding my dad keeps saying, 'I don't want them sitting on our deposits for two years.' That is why he will only put down on the reception hall right now. Sorry I needed to vent, I hope you don't mind

Good thing we have these boards to vent!!! We are going to be booking the majority of our vendors the end of summer too since the wedding will only be a year and a half away! Just explain to him that you want to make sure you have all the vendors you want for your wedding. You only get to do it once. Things book up fast!
