Going to the Americana Mall...

It turs out that the Americana Mall Ann Taylor has the suit pants that I need (I bought the jacket in Walt Whitman and the stylefinder said Manhasset had it).

Never been there but heard it is pretty fancy. I am excited. My mom is going with me. She sounded nauseous about all of the upscale stores and snobby people.

I heard about it, that's where jlo shops.

I LOVE IT THERE!

GREAT STORES...yes imo kinda snobbish

It's not that bad.
It really isn't a mall either. It's more like a large strip mall. You park right in front of the store you need to go in. Plus there are some other stores in there like H&M and Gap... so it's not all upscale.

I've passed it many times, but never shopped there. Just seeing the store names makes me feel poor!

Me too! They have a Sephora there. I love that store but I usually shop at the one in Roos. Field.

I went there once and they have amazing customer service!!!
I love shopping there...I just have no money now

Yep, on Northern Blvd, at the corner of Searingtown Rd. I am too cheap to shop at most of the stores, but do go to Crate & Barrel every once in a while. I have to go this weekend to use my 10% registry coupon before it expires!!!

half the stores you won't go in to but it's nice and you can go in to the Gap and Daffy's too...
it's so not a big deal - you can walk and window shop too!

I love the Americana, so nice to shop on a nice day. I go often for Crate & Barrel. Last Friday my friend and I went there for the afternoon. We had lunch and went shopping. We had a wonderful lunch and felt like the 'Ladies who Lunch'. It was fun !!!

I came home with the pants that match the jacket I got last night AND another suit. Now I have two new suits. One black pinstripe and one solid black.

Yippee!!

Sadly, though I had to go up a size from my normal size and I overheard another woman complaining about the same thing in the dressing room which made me wonder if Ann Taylor changed their sizing.

Oh well, the suits look nice and that is what matters!
