I am having a MAJOR pain in the back of my head, it feels like someone is stabbing me.. nothing works, and I cant move my head at all, i could do nothing yesterday but lay in bed and then last night it got really bad. the left side of my face even feels a little wierd.. i have never had this with a migrane before .. i have a nuerologist appt on thursday should i wait till then or should i go to the hospital? urggg it hurts very bad!

THank you ladies!! im feeling just as bad as i did before i went.. they gave me a shot and some medication that made me sooo tired, all i did was sleep.. and now that it wore off im having so much pain again.. and i cant take the medication during the day cause i will pass out on my desk!!

Glad you're feeling a little better They probably gave you Toradol in the hospital and yes, it makes you sleepy, so does Flexeril so watch out if you're driving!

Yea that is it toradol... and the flexil i cant even take.. i would be laying under my desk by now!!
I am goiong to the nuerologist on thursday that was the soonest appt i could get with any nuerologist..one of them even said end of JUNE!!

Suzanne - I am glad your back, but I wish you were feeling better. I used to get migraines years ago, and I know how painful they can be. I hope you feel better soon!

Suzanne - I also suffer from horrible migraines.... Have you tried Imitrex? I usually take the pills, but when all else fails I give myself the injections... It's not as bad as it sounds and it works like a DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!
