Going to TN to meet rest of FH's family on friday!

His family lives in Nashville. I met his crazy mom..... now comes the mean stepdad and the adorable little brother.... He is in college. On my birthday he called me and I have never met him. SO SWEET!
Anyway, I have SEVERE travel anxiety... just about the packing stuff ( i wind up bringing everything I own, like 2 duffle bags for one weekend so I don't forget anything) and missing flights.. not the actual flying. SOOOOO i need to look cute bc southern girls have a way of looking drop dead gourgous in cords and a t shirt... I can't pull that off... Any outfit suggestions...?? DEB.. you're in the south... Whats cool down there?

I REALLY WANT TO BUY NEW BOOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone tell me its okay so I can sneak to DSW tommorow and buy them!

We are going to a honky tonk... I am very scared Fh doesn't like country music.. he just wants me to experience a honky tonk.
Then we are going to a tour of the grand ole opry.. and dinner at an italian rest. for his mom's birthday ( I don't know how to control the snide remarks about southern italian food!) I am a beeotch.

Help.. what to wear?? OR BUY!!!

Aw! It wil be okay! As for clothes, I would wear whatever you are comfortable in and what makes you feel confident.

I want to shop!!!

I wish it was summer. Summer clothes are so much cooler. Wait.. how warm is it in TN????? Do I need my ski jacket or can I wear something lighter... FALL CLEARANCE ANYONE?

I can totally relate w/ the snide remarks at the way the south makes what they claim to be italian food being in virginia now.

Our friends were talking about this one place and they were like 'oh, it's really good.' when really it was sub par The best we'd had in that area, yes, but still not great.

I'm going to need to stuff them w/ good food when they're up for the wedding in august

But, i digress... (and you think YOU ramble)

But anyways, it's probably a bit warmer in Tenn - probably don't need a ski jacket, but don't forget to pack something warm for when you get back - i made that mistake when i came home from flordia one spring break
