I can't wait. FH's friend has a friend who hooked us up with a suite at the Mirage! I have never been to Las Vegas before. I am excited! And suggestions of where I should visit or shop? How should I pack for December in Vegas?

MIrage is Beautiful.....too bad you might have to miss out on SIgfried and Roy due to the accident./...
But nonetheless, this place is beautiful! We went in March and it was in the high 70s, low 80s..not sure what its like in December....can;t help you out on where to visit or shop, we just enjoyed walking around teh boardwalk and checking out the casinos...and lounging by the pool...we stayed at Excalibur....maybe you can check out Celine Dions show? Or take a day tour to Grand Canyon....

We'll be there from the 11th-17th, so I assume they will be ready for the holidays by then. What's it like out there?

You are going to have a blast! Make sure you go on a gondola ride outside of the Venetian at night. Hit the roller coaster around New York New York. I am going to see Blue Man Group at the Luxor when we go back in November. My hubby is a Trekkie so we always see the Star Trek show at the Hilton.
