Golf help please!

Sorry for crashing the boards. I posted this on the '07 board but thought this board might help too...

I'm thinking of purchasing this golf club set for my FI.. The other night while shopping he was talking about buying the Nike CPRs.. Is this the set?

Also, whats better: graphite or steel?

Say no to Nike!!

Nike clubs, I feel are horrible. Unless you are Tiger and can have them custom made for you from scratch,

I persoanlly have Taylor Made R7 Irons (just got them) and had them fitted at Golf Smith.

If you went to Golf Smith, he can go with a salesman hit balls in the hitting area (really cool BTW) and the salesman will fit him for the clubs of his choice. I did this and found I needed a -1* lie with a standard length. If I did not do this, I would have went with a standard lie and the intitial 1/4' shorter length.

Nike's stink. I hit their driver and irons to find that I would rather go back to my first set of Blades I got 10 years ago. LOL! (although you have no idea what I am talking about).

Go for Taylor Mades or Calloways.. i find them to be the best.

steel or graphite is a personal choice so you might want to ask him on that cause if you get the wrong ones they arent fun to play with
