Golf Question

I want to get FH a nice Driver as a wedding gift. Can anyone make a recommendation of which one to buy and where to buy it?
If you have a significant other that plays golf can you ask for me please???

Re: Golf Question

My suggestion is DO NOT buy one for him on your own...

Most golfers like to pick out their own clubs...do a couple of practice swings, etc...

You could get a gift certificate...there is a pretty good golf store in Broadway Mall

I agree. Let him pick his own. (FH is playing as we speak). He did just buy a set of woods that he loves and everyone else he has let try loves. They make different clubs for different needs. Gift Cert is the best idea.

I agree too. My FH always has to try them out before he buys them. I don't know if it's still there, but there was a golf store in the source mall that had some really good deals. I think they were closing though.

I play golf, and I agree with the above posters, let him pick his own. I have an idea of how to still have a gift to wrap though, in case you're giving it to him at the rehearsal. (I don't know if many people do that, but I have seen it done.) You could buy one of those driver covers and include a gift card or a little card that says this entitles you to one driver of your choice.

If you really want to get him a club instead of having him pick it out then make sure to go to a store with a good exchange policy. My dad is a hard core golfer and swears by his Calloway drivers. Or better yet have his best man take him window shopping on a whim and then report back to you?
