Good baby stroller?

Good baby stroller?

One of my closest friends is about to register and she doesn't know what brand of stroller is a good one (she's the first of our 'group' to be a mommy!).

She would like one that's not too heavy and that she can fold up to take in the car. She'd prefer one that the baby can use as an infant through toddler years, if possible.

My stroller is by Graco, and it's part of the MetroLite line. It's super lightweight compared to some others on the market, and can accommodate the infant carrier (which is sold separately) for when the baby is very small.

tell her to TRY them before registering for it. I had ton lots of research but Claud is 100% right- holy heavyweight! Some of them were over 25lbs which is a lot to lug in and out of a car a few times a day. The Metrolite is like 13lbs or so. a huge difference. You have to try before you can know which is best for you.
