Good bar/club in NYC???

Looking for a good place to hangout on Saturday night in the city. We are all around 30, not all married. Have not been out in the city in a long time, so totally clueless as to where to go.

Any recommendations? Thanks

We were thinking about House or Marquee or R bar on Bowery

Meat packing district. The Hotel Gansvort(sp). Its the best!!! If you have been to the Spice Market the Hotel is across the street
