Good Chinese restaurant in Eastern Suffolk?

Hi, everyone! My FI and I would really like to do a Chinese banquet for our rehearsal dinner, but we don't know any good Chinese restaurant in eastern Suffolk (we're getting married in the North Fork and will already be in the area the night before the wedding). If you know of any good Chinese restaurants in eastern Suffolk (no buffet or fast food), please let us know! Thanks in advance!

East in huntington.... it is a buffet but amazing
ask anyone and they will tell you

We are in the same situation. Unfortunately East dowsn't suit our needs. Having been to East we can definitely say they have excellent food but not for her relatives. We want more traditional dishes so probably Flushing or somewhere around here will best suit our needs.

jani in huntington is yummy but still not close to the north fork.....

Thank you everyone! Yeah, we are having it the night before. Thanks for East recommendation - we've actually been there and the food is good, but we wanted something more traditional because we have a lot of relatives coming into town from Asia. Huntington is probably too far for us, too. Thomas, I'll let you know as well if we find anything...

You should try Garden Court. They are in Huntington and have a great menu.

We had our's at Ying Yand (Smithtown I think) and it was great. Everyone really enjoyed it and it didn't totally break the bank.

Oh just read that you didn't want a buffet. It was still really good and gave everyone a lot of options to eat.

I don't know about Eastern Suffolk but I went to a traditional Chinese Wedding in October in Queens at East Manor ( I believe it is pretty new and the food was very tradional).

The place is quite large b/c there were 3 or 4 weddings going on and some other regular dinners going on at the same time.

There is a place on 25A in Rocky Point called Diamond Wok. Their food is GREAT! Our family has been going there for a few years.

Long River in West Islip has the best chinese food I have ever had anywhere on LI. I actually travel from Westbury to WI to get it when I am at my FH house.

there's a yummy buffet out by exit 64 off the lie....its great and they have a party room, the food is amazing!

There is a very good place across the street from Diamond Wok in Rocky POint, also. It is called Kirin. They have sushi, but also a large selection of CHinese food. I even think there is a private room there. When I lived in Shoreham, I kind of lived there, too -- the food is sooo good! Good luck!
