Good gyms (not very exp.) in Lindenhurst

Is anyone from Lindenhurst & know a reasonable gym (prefer just women, but either will do) fairly close (Montauk Hwy or such).

I go to Lucille Roberts in Massapequa on Sunrise Highway. It's only women.

Gina, how are their hours there? Do they have a lot of machines & such? How much do you generally pay per month?

Cindy - my bestfriend goes to Dolphin in Amtiyville I believe...it is open 24 hours!

I go to Gold's Gym, my membership for one year was about $495, they have three locations that I know of, one in Garden City Park, Bellmore, and Farmingdale...they have classes such as yoga, cardiokickboxing, body sculpting, spinning, pilates, Step and you don't have to pay extra for any of the classes, they also have babysitting and their hours are great, weekdays open early and close at 11:00pm.

I go there too, and I live in Lindenhurst.
I pay $20 a month( 2 year contract). They are one of the largest LR around. Lots of classes. A decent amount of equpiment( it gets busiest between 5pm-7pm). They are open till 9:00 I think on weekenights, the weekend hours stink!

I go to Fitness Incentive in Babylon but it's not so cheap

Thanks ladies. I think I'm going to check out Lucille Roberts or Dolphin (at some point). I may just start off walking & doing my video at home (until school ends for me in June). Thanks for your help!
